CURRENT BIRDS
GOAL: 2000 BIRDS
$50 Per Bird
You need to be a West Course Combine Member to be a handler
You must registered at least 10 bands of your own to become a handler unless you are a member of the OCC
Out of Area Breeders can use their own Bands and choose their own handlers.
Bird replacement is not allowed
Handlers need to use sequence band numbers and need to be registered to the race committee upfront before using it.
Handlers can handle as many birds as they want.
Handlers are allowed to fly their own birds
Out Of Area Birds will be shipped directly to handlers and handlers need to report it to the race committee as soon as possible. Signed shipping form by the breeder must be sent to the race committee.
Download form here, sign it and ship it together with your entries. Handlers must give it to the race committee.

Accepting Birds from Feb 1, 2024 to June 1st 2024.
Final race will be on the 350-420 miles station via East Course (towards Arizona).
If all prizes are not filled after knock-off, the remaining prizes will be split equally among the birds clocked. Note: The race is OPEN until all prizes are filled or up to 3 days. Knock-Off Time is 8PM Pacific Time.
Split: 50% Breeder – 50% Handler
Birds belong to the breeder unless prior arrangement has been made with the handler.
Breeder pays for all the shipping costs.
Any unclaimed birds 7 days after the final race becomes property of the handler
Committee retains the right to perform drug testing.
Any birds tested positive on Steroids and on any drugs that influence nervous system (caffeine and hemp are excluded), based on AU Prohibited Drug List will forfeit all (100%) winnings of all registered birds under that handler's loft - Handlers and Breeders will not be paid! Committee retains the right to request winning birds to be released in front of the loft as part of the verification process.
Trophy will be awarded to the Handler and Plaque for the Breeder of the overall winner.
All winners will be paid within 14 days after the drug testing result becomes available. Note: OCC Race committee will retain 15% for expenses
OCC Race committee retains the right to inspect all participating birds and disqualify birds that looks suspicious - example is when bands looks altered
OCC Race committee retains the right to approve or refuse any participant into the race
Any unforeseen issues will be settled by the race committee and their decision will be final
By sending in your entries, participants acknowledged and agreed to the above rules, process and procedures
